About the Project
Massachusetts, and Boston in particular, enjoys a vibrant economy and a strong sense of history. A leading threat to this success is the unattainable cost of housing which pushes native Bostonians far into the suburbs or young families to different states where they can purchase a home. The Mayor’s Office on Neighborhood Housing began the implementation of the Neighborhood Homes Initiative (NHI) in 2016. Oxbow Urban was the first developer to bring homes to market under this program and provided housing opportunities for over 20 individuals who are now able be owners who Boston home!
